Hello from the Washington School Resource program! I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the Resource teacher for the 2011 – 2012 school year. My name is Miss Ginger Foust. Although I am new to Washington School, I am not new to the North Platte Public School system. I began my teaching career 29 years ago! I started as the Resource teacher at Eisenhower and McKinley Elementary Schools. I then transferred to Buffalo Elementary School where I have been teaching for the past 24 years. I am excited about being at Washington School. I look forward to meeting each of you and working with you throughout the school year to ensure a quality education for your child.
Over the next couple of weeks I will be getting to know the students and reviewing their files. I will be working with Mr. Alexander and the classroom teachers to discuss scheduling and programming needs. I will then contact you to set up a meeting to discuss any proposed changes to your child’s current IEP.
